Campus Futures is an ambitious development programme to transform King’s College London’s campuses – shaping the environments that will serve staff and students for the next decade and beyond.
Estates & Facilities is the largest directorate within King’s College London. They are responsible for the maintenance and operation of more than 100 buildings and all campus facilities including catering, halls of residence, study spaces, working spaces and sports facilities. To enable the University to meet future growth targets, King’s need their campuses to become more operationally and financially efficient, whilst also reducing their carbon footprint. In response, they initiated a comprehensive masterplanning programme to transform the King’s estate, and needed help in articulating and communicating this vision. So the King’s Estates & Facilities team asked Rose to help them define a narrative and create a distinctive and confident campaign identity to create awareness of Campus Futures. They wanted the campaign to communicate its purpose, help the operations teams convey the many changes on campus, and encourage patience and understanding from staff, students and visitors.
